About Us

Salvaging Cars Since 1964

In 1964, Robert Owens Sr. started "Owens Salvage" by accident. Robert was already in the gas station business and was buying used and junk cars as the extra parts were always great to have around. If he didn't use them on customer cars, they came in pretty handy to support his drag racing and hot rodding hobby.

In 1964, Robert bought five acres of land for more room to hold his expanding inventory. He was so busy he could not keep the station going and went full time into the salvage business. Over the years we have grown to 65 acres and all makes and brands. In the 1970's and 1980's, we mainly sold late model parts and cars. Then, in the 1990's we shifted back to the good stuff - old cars and nos parts. Our main inventory is the 1940's to the late 1960's, but we always have cars coming and going from all years. In the future, we look foward to helping people save old cars and enjoying them.

We are still family owned and love to talk hot rods and kustoms so send us a e-mail or give us a call with your needs!
